The Inventory – Critical Linkdown

What’s good in life?

Conan the Barbarian was absolutely wrong when he answered this question. We believe it’s love. Love of/for/from everything and everyone. Good literature, art, and music can help us love, can help us understand, or at least come closer to these. Pizza proabably can to. You can’t eat pizza over the internet yet, so we’ve selected some great things for you to read. You could always read them while you eat pizza.

As always, if you have something you would like us to link to, send it to us, along with whatever accompanying text or explanation you prefer, to mailbox@drunkinamidnightchoir.com “c/o The Inventory.” We post all kinds of links on our Facebook Page as well. So feel free to go there and like us and you will not only get great updates about the site, but also other awesome things happening out in the wild, wild webs.

-Sincerely, Todd & Adam

Camonghne Felix writes searingly about the “deeply irresponsible misogynistic dynamic” of older men pursuing young girls.

The new issue of The Atlas Review is a phenomenal tribute to Bernadette Mayer, featuring way too many beautiful poems by excellent poets to list. In particular, pieces from Keegan Lester, Carleen Tibbetts, and Morgan Parker knocked our socks off. But really, the whole dang thing’s amazing!

And hey, did we mention this anthology thing we made? We’re super proud of it. We think you’ll love it.
