Perspective is everything.
In 2011 I made a huge life change, which brought me back to college after more than a decade. The process of finding my artistic channel happened upon taking my first photography class in the summer of 2014. It changed everything. It’s changed how I move and respond to the world around me, and it changed me as an observer and participant. My work is personal no matter the medium. I’m guided by emotion and nostalgia, and tend to sway in the direction of the intimate and mundane. There is a mood, both internal and external throughout, that juxtaposes the beauty of light and dark.
I currently live in Portland, Oregon and I am working on getting my BFA in Art Practices, with a Minor in Photography at Portland State University.
